My daughter Maria is a clever young lady. She's also taken up the family style of making up songs. Oddly enough, she has made up a song about Dan Kasten, even though she has never met the former valedictorian of the Class of 1984. But here you go. To the tune of "Spider-Man"
Spider Dan, Spider Dan
Does what ever Dan Kasten does
Drinks his coffee
Reads the paper
In his robe, yes he does
Why does he do it? I don't know
Spider Dan, Spider Dan
Dad couldn't be more proud.

I've never visited a blog site before, but I do know Spider Dan Kasten. And, I think we all know why Dan does it. He just wants to piss off his parents. Motivation is never far from home.
Well anonymous, I'm glad you found this little place. And it's difficult to question your analysis of the situation.
We'll try to let this site be a little less moribund; hopefully it will be worth your while to return.
I used to make up songs like that all the time as a kid.
